Walks with lions start with an introduction to the lions and the background of the conservation efforts to rehabilitate them and protect their natural environment.
You will be given a safety briefing on what to do and not do when walking with the lions. During your walk you will be accompanied at all times by an experienced guide, scouts and handler. You can take pictures with and get close to the lions. Walks usually last in the region of 1 to 2 hours
All costs contribute towards the funding of the lion project.
Minimum Height and Age Restrictions
Minimum age for the Lion Encounter is 15 years.
Minimum height restriction for the Lion Encounter / Walk is 1.5m or 5ft.
A person must meet both the age and height restrictions to qualify.
