Description
Your day starts with a 7:00 AM hotel pick-up for the drive from Victoria Falls to Chobe National Park. After clearing immigration at the Kazungula border, a professional guide will lead a 3-hour game drive through the park’s varied ecosystems, including woodland, savannah, and grasslands. Expect to see elephants, big cats like lions and leopards, and diverse bird species.
Following the game drive, enjoy a buffet lunch at Chobe Safari Lodge or Cresta Mowana with views towards Namibia. You will then embark on a 2.5 to 3-hour boat cruise along the Chobe River, providing close encounters with elephants, hippos, crocodiles, birds, and floodplains.
After the cruise, you will return to your hotel in Victoria Falls, arriving just before or at sunset, depending on the season.
The next morning, wake for a 5:45 AM pick-up to explore Victoria Falls with a guided tour visiting all 16 viewpoints over two hours. By 8:15 AM, cross into Zambia for the Devil’s Pool experience. A short 5-minute boat ride takes you to Livingstone Island, where you receive a safety briefing and a historical tour. Depending on water levels, you can swim in Devil’s Pool, Angel’s Pool, or Rocky Pool, which are all close together.
After swimming, enjoy a bush breakfast on the island before returning by boat and transfer to your accommodation.
