Description
Leap off the Victoria Falls Bridge, one of the highest bungee jumps in the world. The bridge spans the border between Zimbabwe and Zambia, standing 111 meters above the river below. Experienced jumpers can request advanced maneuvers such as ankle-tied backflips or star elevators by consulting the jumpmaster.
Jumpers receive a gate pass at the border, so a valid passport is required. Allow at least one hour before your jump for customs clearance and walking to the site. Before jumping, a safety briefing explains the harness system, jump expectations, and recovery procedures.
The safety system includes cords and a dual-part ankle harness, plus an additional waist harness with a backup attachment to the cord. This system has supported over 500,000 jumps worldwide without incidents of slippage or detachment. After landing, jumpers are hoisted back to the catwalk below the bridge by the crew for retrieval.
