Description
Your day begins with hotel pickup in Victoria Falls, followed by a short open-vehicle game drive into Zambezi National Park. Watch for wildlife sightings en route to the river launch point.
After arrival, your guide provides a comprehensive safety briefing covering river conditions, rapids, and canoeing techniques. You will also complete an indemnity form before departure.
Spend the day canoeing downstream, navigating gentle grade one and two rapids, and exploring river channels. Take opportunities for bird watching and game viewing along the way.
Pause for a light picnic snack on the mainland or an island, included with cold soft drinks, mineral water, and beers available at the take-out point at trip’s end. Return to Victoria Falls by approximately 2:00 PM.
