Description
Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park lies on the edge of Livingstone, bordering the Zambezi River. This protected area is home to an endangered population of southern white rhinos, which guests can track on foot accompanied by armed rangers in open bush terrain.
The tour begins with a game drive along the riverine woodland in an open 4x4 vehicle, offering chances to see giraffes, zebras, warthogs, antelopes, and, seasonally, elephants and hippos. After the game drive, there is a rest stop by the river where snacks and drinks are served.
The walking safari follows, providing direct, close-range tracking of white rhinos. This rare access near a tourism hub allows an intimate wildlife experience not commonly found elsewhere in Africa.
Snacks, soft drinks, and bottled water are included, along with national park entry fees. Hotel pickup and drop-off from Livingstone are provided. Tours depart in the morning and afternoon.
