Description
Your day begins with a pickup from Livingstone or Victoria Falls around 7:00–7:30 AM. You will drive approximately one hour to the Kazungula border post, complete immigration formalities, and enter Kasane, Botswana.
From Kasane, transfer by boat across the Chobe River to Impalila Island in Namibia. Participate in a guided village walk to learn about local Namibian traditions. Then, climb an ancient baobab tree offering panoramic views of Namibia, Botswana, Zambia, and Zimbabwe. Birdwatching along the river channels adds to the experience.
Return by boat to Kasane late morning. Enjoy lunch in Kasane, either as a picnic or at a lodge, before entering Chobe National Park for a 3-hour game drive. Expect to see elephants, buffalo, giraffes, lions, antelope, and a variety of birdlife.
Alternatively, you may choose a Chobe River boat cruise for a water-based wildlife viewing experience instead of the game drive. The tour concludes with a return transfer to Livingstone or Victoria Falls by early evening, exiting Chobe National Park around 4:00–4:30 PM.
