Itinerary
Day 1: Arrive at Victoria Falls International Airport or the Victoria Falls border. Meet your guide and transfer to your lodge. Take a sunset boat cruise on the Zambezi River.
Day 2: After breakfast, enjoy a walking tour of Victoria Falls with stops at various viewpoints. Explore the rainforest and experience the falls’ spray and sound. Spend the afternoon at leisure with optional activities available through your guide.
Day 3: Travel south to Hwange National Park. Transfer to open safari vehicles and enter the park located in western Zimbabwe. Hwange borders Botswana, allowing animals, especially elephants, to roam freely between Hwange and Chobe National Parks. The park hosts over 100 mammal species including the Big Five—leopard, lion, elephant, rhino, and buffalo—as well as giraffes, cheetahs, and brown hyenas. Afternoon game drive included.
Day 4: Early morning game drive with tea and coffee served before or during the drive. Breakfast follows around 9:30-10:00 am, coinciding with peak big cat activity. Afternoon game drive precedes a visit to the Hwange Painted Dog Conservation Project, dedicated to rehabilitating wild dogs, a species with fewer than 3,000 remaining in Africa. Return to Victoria Falls with opportunities to spot wildlife along the route.
Day 5: Tour ends with transfers to the airport or hotel.
