Description
The trip starts early at around 5:30 am with hotel or lodge pickup from Victoria Falls. You will be transported to the Botswana border, reaching it within an hour. After completing border formalities, safari jeeps will take you to Chobe National Park before other vehicles arrive, increasing your chances to see undisturbed wildlife.
The game drive lasts approximately five hours, offering opportunities to see lions, leopards, giraffes, elephants, buffalos, and other animals. After the game drive, a buffet lunch is served at Cresta Mowana Hotel in Kasane.
The day concludes with a sunset boat cruise on the Chobe River, where you can observe animals grazing on islands, elephants swimming, and a variety of birds along the riverbanks. The cruise usually coincides with the sun setting in the middle of the trip, providing ideal conditions for photography.
The boat cruise ends around 6:30 pm and you'll return to the border, then transfer back to your Victoria Falls accommodation. Times may vary slightly depending on the season.
