Walking Safaris - Shenton Safaris

Shenton Safaris offers Walking Safaris, Game Drives, Photographic Safaris as well as specialised Photographic Tours with international wildlife photography experts.  All safaris are run out of Kaingo Camp and Mwamba Camp in the South Luangwa National Park

Barry Shenton, father of Derek Shenton, was a warden of Kafue National Park when walking safaris were started in the South Luangwa, Barry introduced walking safaris in the Kafue. 

A typical walk will have a duration of approximately 3 hours with a break for refreshments.  It is importants to wear neutral coloured clothing, sensible shoes, a hat and sunblock.  The walks are not strenuous but a reasonable fitness level is required.
