The elephants come through the reception when the wild mango are in fruit.

The Lodge is set inside the South Luangwa National Park, just five minutes' drive from the main gate. Its thatched buildings are arranged around the banks of two lagoons where wildlife often come to drink. Guests can view the lagoons from private decks at the chalets or at the pool and communal dining area and bar.

This region of the park is renowned for its variety of game and one of the best places in Zambia to spot leopard. This includes the famous of elephants, including Wellington, which walk through camp to gain access to wild mangoes.

Mfuwe has a Bush Spa for those who wish to relax further.
