Itinerary 05:30 AM: Pick-up from your hotel in Dar es Salaam and transfer to the SGR station. 06:00 AM: Depart Dar es Salaam by SGR train to Morogoro, enjoying beautiful views along the way. 09:00 AM: Arrive at Morogoro station. Meet your experienced safari driver-guide and transfer by safari vehicle to Mikumi National Park (approx. 1 hour drive). 10:00 AM: Begin your mid-morning game drive, exploring the vast Mkata floodplains — home to elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, and antelopes. 01:00 PM: Enjoy a delicious lunch at Mikumi Wildlife Camp or a scenic picnic inside the park. 02:00 PM: Continue with your afternoon game drive, capturing more sightings and stunning photos of Tanzania’s rich wildlife. 04:30 PM: Exit the park and drive back to Morogoro. 06:00 PM: Board the SGR train back to Dar es Salaam. 09:30 PM: Arrive in Dar es Salaam and transfer to your hotel — ending an incredible day in the wild.
