Description

Begin your late-afternoon adventure with pickup from your hotel in Victoria Falls and travel to the dramatic Batoka Gorge, carved by the Zambezi River downstream from the Falls. After a short safety briefing, set out on a guided hike along the gorge rim or descending sections that reveal incredible views of the river far below. The terrain is rugged, with rocky trails and uneven steps, but your guide will set a comfortable pace with plenty of stops to rest and take photos. As the sun begins to lower, the gorge transforms into a spectacle of light and color — orange and pink hues reflect off the canyon walls while the river glimmers below. Find a peaceful vantage point to soak in this unforgettable African sunset. Your evening continues with a bush-style dinner set up right on the edge of the gorge. Enjoy a freshly prepared meal featuring Zimbabwean flavors — grilled meats or fish, local vegetables, and the traditional staple sadza. Sip on a chilled drink as dusk settles and the sounds of nature rise from the gorge below.
